All about the Power Leader Leia

Leia Organa. Everyone knows her as the determined and strong woman who forges her own path. The daughter of Anakin Skywalker and twin sister of Luke , both possess a strong connection to the Force, but express it in their own unique way. Leia doesn't choose the path of a Jedi, but rather leadership and hope. Yet, she has more affinity for the Force—and even a lightsaber—than many realize.

More about Leia Organa

At birth, Leia was separated from her brother Luke and raised by Bail Organa and Queen Breha on Alderaan. As a princess of the planet, she grew up to be a beloved and capable leader. While Luke focused on Jedi training, Leia chose a different path: political and strategic leadership. She became a crucial figure in the Rebel Alliance, later a general in the Resistance, and ultimately a symbol of hope against the First Order. Despite her role as a leader, she always felt a deep connection to the Force.

Although Leia received little formal training, her connection to the Force was strong. She had visions and sensed situations instinctively, knowing when her brother was in danger or when her loved one was being killed. In The Last Jedi, we see her impressive rescue in space using the Force, and in The Rise of Skywalker, she uses the last of her strength to reach her son, Ben Solo—a moment that would change his fate forever.

But what many don't know is that Leia did receive lightsaber training.

Leia's Lightsaber – Pearl

Leia ultimately chose to serve the Force differently, but she did train with a lightsaber under Luke Skywalker's guidance. Her saber, known as Pearl , is as elegant and powerful as she is.

Pearl has a striking pink/orange base and is adorned with silver inlays. The grip features distinctive plating for a secure grip, and the control knob—slightly tilted forward—was designed specifically for this saber. The emitter, with three matte silver rings, allows the blade's light to shine through for a dramatic effect. The base is equipped with a D-clip, making it easy to attach to a belt with the KenJo Saber Belt Clip.

Despite her skills, Leia ultimately chose not to actively use her saber. She realized her strength lay in leadership and hope—and that the Force needn't be expressed solely through a weapon. Her saber was put away, waiting for the one who would carry on her legacy.
